Designed like a small lullaby, the choreography evokes a nocturnal world.

Uncontrollable animality lurks at the doors of sleep. There is no night watchman. It is now left to the Vestal to watch over the sacred fire of the city. Her dance is a cry, an anger addressed to one who will no longer keep watch, and a resignation to solitude.
